chocolate cake waffles with choc | hazelnut spread
waffles
80g almond meal
80g pumpkin seeds
80g potato starch
50g cocoa powder
100g coconut sugar/maple syrup/rice malt syrup
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
250ml hazelnut milk
1 tsp vanilla extract, optional
1oog purified coconut oil/or ghee, melted
chocolate hazelnut spread
60-80ml maple syrup
60g toasted hazelnut butter/or purified coconut oil, melted /or ghee, melted
2-3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch sea salt
To make the sauce combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well combined. Adjust taste to your liking and set aside.
To make the waffles place all ingredients into a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth. Follow the cooking instructions on your waffle machine. Cook until all the waffle batter has been used. Keep warm.
To serve top waffles with your favourite fresh fruit, toasted hazelnuts and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Enjoy!
